I've been grading some GH2 footage converted to ProRes HQ, I get 24fps playback most of the time, the frame rate drops a bit when adding a lot of complex nodesKihlian March 2012 JackBayer Very interesting, do you have noticed differences in rendering time with more or less compressed .mts? Also hacked vs unhacked footage? Add a Comment On DNxHD it stayed on full and then eventually came down to 1/2 while maintaining a great response timeSummary: (optional)Count: 0 of 1,500 characters Add Your Review The posting of advertisements, profanity, or personal attacks is prohibited.Click here to review our site terms of use1,5 GB footage was done in just a few minutes on my system5DtoRGB seems to be the most popular software, but in windows it's a pain since there is no batch optionTop Julian Posts: 35Joined: Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:49 pm Re: Cheap, low power cuda card for Resolve Lite Sun Oct 07, 2012 11:39 am Got my card, but had to change it for a Asus GT640 2GB because the GTX650 needs a 6-pin power connector which I don't haveWindows version doesn't have a batch feature like the Mac version (cost $40)Its also fine that it is very natural color and good contrast.Cheers Top Julian Posts: 35Joined: Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:49 pm Re: Cheap, low power cuda card for Resolve Lite Tue Oct 09, 2012 6:34 pm Thanks John! The tool works good for me, converting doesn't take time eitherIf you are using the latest version (1.5.5), the log file is written to C:Program Files (x86)hdcinematics.comDSLRPostPreplogsDSLRPPUlog.txt so you could check there to see if you can indeed write files there

How about using Resolve to export your clips as DPX? Or Adobe Media Encoder if you have itMy email address is listed on the website and I will try to work through any problems you may havePrivacy Statement Terms of Use Sign Up for RSS Feeds Apparently there are batch scripts you can use, but I found another option: DSLRPostPrep, a free and easy to use tool to convert dslr footage into ProRes or DNxHD.With DSLRPostPrep I convert to ProRes HQ 176 mbpsReply Quote Menu Re: DSLR Post Prep Utility 5 years ago #21966 notrons OFFLINE Senior Boarder Posts: 50 5 years ago #21966 czuczkowski - DSLR Post Prep Utility tries to create a log file for each session in order to capture the output from ffmbcIt can transcode your AVCHD (.mts) files to Apple's ProRes format on both Mac and WindowsNikon Global Terms of Use Terms of Sale Privacy Policy Press Room Contact Us Sitemap Nikon Global 2017 Nikon IncTop Julian Posts: 35Joined: Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:49 pm Re: Cheap, low power cuda card for Resolve Lite Sun Oct 07, 2012 11:39 am Got my card, but had to change it for a Asus GT640 2GB because the GTX650 needs a 6-pin power connector which I don't haveI was able to convert the mts files to mp4 with AnotherGui, but then Cineform would only transcode the first seconds or so from every clipThe copying of clips back to the CF card

This is so I can still change things later. Then I export everything into DBX right from Premiere. Now when opening that DBX in Resolve I see the complete cut and can easily identify all the different szenes in one layerDisplay posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending So all in all I'm happy with the performance of a 100 cardSo it runs fine on my 300w power supply (80+ rated)Jump to: Board index General DaVinci ResolveJump to: Select a forum ------------------ General Getting Started Cinematography Post Production Live Production DaVinci Resolve Fusion Software Development Software Developers Other Topics Announcements Off-Topic My first experiments with grading: Top John Waldorff Posts: 181Joined: Wed Aug 22, 2012 10:19 pm Re: Cheap, low power cuda card for Resolve Lite Tue Oct 09, 2012 5:59 pm Great wrapup Juliana 50MB .mov file is now 3,4GBI was able to convert the mts files to mp4 with AnotherGui, but then Cineform would only transcode the first seconds or so from every clipTop Julian Posts: 35Joined: Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:49 pm Re: Cheap, low power cuda card for Resolve Lite Fri Oct 05, 2012 10:10 am Andy wrote:How about using Resolve to export your clips as DPX?
